Upper Leacock Fire Company History

The history of the Upper Leacock Fire Company is really a history of our members.  Without their continued commitment to service excellence and the community, the fire company would not remain viable.  In order to recognize those individuals who have achieved life membership status (20 year of membership) we have decided to publish their names and the year they joined the Mechanicsburg, Leacock, or Leola Fire Companies.  Click Here to see our life members.

Current Membership

The future of the Upper Leacock Fire Company will always remain dependent upon a current influx of new members who, learning from the experiences of those before them, will carry on the tradition of professional, knowledgeable service to the community.  While we are always looking for individuals with previous experience, we are willing to provide the formal as well as on-the-job training necessary to allow anyone to contribute to the betterment of the community.  The wide diversity of jobs in the volunteer fire service today require a blend of many individuals to keep the operations viable.  If you are interested in helping others in your community, please stop by the station on our routine Tuesday training night, call 656-9881, or e-mail the webmaster at webmaster@upperleacockfire.com.  Our current list of members can been seen by clicking Here.
