CONSTITUTION OF THE UPPER LEACOCK FIRE CO.

ARTICLE I
NAME
Section 1. This company shall be known as the Upper Leacock Fire Company. (Officially abbreviated as U.L. Fire Co.), of Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
ARTICLE II
OBJECTIVE
Section 1. The objective of this company shall be the protection of life and property.
ARTICLE III
MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. United States citizenship shall be a requirement for membership.
Section 2. Membership shall be divided into the following: Active, Life, Honorary, Township, Junior, Temporary, Contributing, and Auxiliary Member. Only Active and Auxiliary members shall be eligible to hold office or to vote at any election or meeting
ARTICLE IV
MEETINGS
Section 1. The stated meeting of this Company shall be held on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7:30 p.m. When the regular meeting falls on a holiday or other special event, then it shall be held on the following Monday evening.
ARTICLE V
OFFICERS
Section 1. The elective officers of this Company shall consist of a President, two Vice Presidents, a Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, three Trustees, a Financial Secretary, a Fire Chief, a Deputy Fire Chief, and an Engineer.
ARTICLE VI
ALTERATIONS OR AMENDMENTS
Section 1. The Constitution may be altered when the proposed amendment has been read aloud and submitted in writing at two regular monthly meetings previous to April or October regular meetings, at which time the concurrence of two-thirds vote of those present shall be required to effect such changes or amendments.
Section 2. The By-Laws may be altered when the proposed alteration or amendment has been read aloud and submitted in writing at a previous meeting, and the concurrence of two-thirds vote of those present shall be required to effect such changes or amendment.
