| A significant
amount of time is invested into the business operation of
the fire company on a yearly basis. With a yearly budget
for 2007 in excess of $125,000, a large majority of the
fund-raising responsibility falls to these officers.
Also, these individuals are responsible for carrying out
the By-laws of the company and operating the company as a
business. The list below shows the elected officers
of the fire company.

Zach Dennis | Zach has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire Company since 1999. Zach previously served as Assistant Secretary, training officer, and junior lieutenant for the Company. Zach was promoted to the position of lieutenant in 2006. | |
| First Vice-President | |||

Harold Hoover | Harold has been a member of the ULFC since 1988. He was previously a member of the Leacock Fire Company starting in 1964. He has held many offices over the past years including President. Harold is also active in the Upper Leacock Township War Memorial Association, the Bareville-Leola-Leacock Lions Club, and as the ULFC representative to the Lancaster County Firemen's Association. In July of 2004, Harold celebrated 40 years of never missing a Company meeting. And he's still going... | |

Julie Erdman | Julie has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire
Company since 1999. She has previously held the Assistant
Secretary and Financial Secretary positions. Julie also serves as
a Lieutenant in the Company. She can be reached at

Sam Huber | Sam has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire Company since 1988. He has been the secretary since 2003. He has served as assistant engineer, engineer, and assistant secretary in the past. He has also served as chairman of various committees for the company. Sam is currently serving as the webmaster for this site. He has also been Secretary for the Upper Leacock Township Firemen's Relief Association since 2004. Levi Freeburn | Levi has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire Company since 1999. In 2004 he served as the Fire Company President. | |

Ted Burkhart | Ted has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire Company since 1992. Ted previously served two previous terms as President. Ted is also the President of the Upper Leacock Township Firemen's Relief Association and a National Registered EMT with the Leola Ambulance Association since 1988. | |

Nelson Bard | Nelson has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire Company since 1988. Prior to that he was a member of the Leacock Fire Company starting in 1966. Since 1981 Nelson has served as Treasurer for the Leacock Fire Company and then ULFC. In addition to his duties with the ULFC, he has served as the Treasurer for the Upper Leacock Twp. Firemen's Relief Association since 1985. Nelson was elected Chairman of the Leola Sewer Authority in 2007. | |

| Fire Chief | |||

Nelson Dagen | Nelson has began his fire company service with the
Leacock Fire Company in 1966. Nelson was the second chief of the
ULFC and has served as trustee, vice-president, deputy chief, and
assistant chief throughout the years. Nelson assumed the Chief
position after the resignation of former Chief Larry Miller at the end
of 2006.

Robert Ekis | Deputy Chief Bob Ekis has been a member of the ULFC since 1991. In the past Bob has served as a Trustee for six years, a Captain, and a Lieutenant. Bob's outside interest include "late night walks by the moonlight". | |

Gene Rodgers | Gene began his fire service in 1951 as a member of the Leola Fire Company. Gene has service as Fire Chief, President, Financial Secretary, and Trustee during his years in the service. Gene is the ULFC delegate to the LCFA and Keystone State Fire Chiefs Association. | |

Dale Martin | Dale has been a member of the Upper Leacock Fire Company since 1999. Dale returned to this position in 2005 after a one-year vacancy of the position. He has served as engineer for 6 years and the past two years as a lieutenant for the Company.. | |
